Metal Rhythm - Axe FX II Preset Pack
Featuring 22 Hi-Gain rhythm guitar tones. I originally named this pack Modern Metal because that was my original intention behind these presets. I wanted to create Metal tones that are tight, articulate and not over saturated with gain. But soon after I started jamming some of my favorite riffs from the early 2000’s and 90’s, I quickly realized these tones covered a much broader range than just contemporary metal. So whether you want to thrash your brains out or Djent your ass off this pack will suite you well. These tones are inspired by various Hi gain amplifier’s and overdrives I’ve had over the years. Such as EVH 5150III, Engl Savage, Marshall JVM, Driftwood Purple Nightmare and a Randall 667. Drives that are used include, The Horizon Precision Drive, Maxon Apex 808 and the Fortin Grind. All paired with a Mesa Boogie 4x12 and EVH 2x12, with a variety of mic’s to ensure a wide range of sounds.
