For Volume 2, Euge went back in with new settings and a couple of new amps, all freshly refurbished by Eric Studer. The results were so impressive that it was time for another round of captures. The amps sound and feel better than ever while still delivering the classic Euge Valovirta character that makes his tones instantly recognizable.
Volume 2 brings back many of the amps that helped define the original Hard Hitters collection, now with refined settings and fresh captures, alongside a couple of new additions that weren’t included in Volume 1.
The full rigs take things in a fresh direction, captured through a different cabinet and speaker combination, and microphone preamp chain for an entirely different dimension of Euge’s sound.
